Soothsayer 03:28
I've been sinkin' low Down in murky water A bastard son Of booze and blotter Ponderin' the fate of man Feels like we got a loaded gun And an empty hand Such a sight to see Mama, what has become of me? See, I've been livin' like I'm made of sand Gettin' blown apart Just to be put back together again Livin' in the shadow of my true father-- Another bastard son Of booze and blotter Such a sight to see Mama, why can't I just let it be? Oh oh, these visions got the best of me I've been sinkin' low Down in murky water A bastard son Of blues and blotter

This Stone 04:45
Can you feel it turnin'-- The ever-faster-spinnin' wheel of change? And how the lines are blurrin' 'Tween our pleasures and our pain? The walls that we are buildin' here Well, ya know they ain't just brick and stone 'Cuz every day that I spend flyin' through space Oh, ya know, I feel more and more Alone Can you tell me-- Where have we gone? I've been awake for far too long Can you tell me-- Where did we go? Oh, this stone don't feel like home Can you hear the buzzin'-- As countless faces turn in to their screens? Hidin' from the silence And everything in-between Oh, but will we turn and face them-- All these decisions that we have made? I know it's hard to feel that burnin' sun When you're hidin' and lyin' in The shade
5.
Mr. Scratch 06:14
Can you believe your eyes-- Do you see these grinnin' devils? Scratch's hands grabbin' hold at every level So many souls seem to have lost their way 'Cuz hardly do good intentions ever pay So sick and tired of wastin' Myself to wicked games If I said that they were lyin', babe That would be too plain Hear the sound Hear the sound Oh, do you hear the sound now? Of the push and pull I always seem to be lookin' for an answer But, only my questions grow Don't wanna shake hands with no Mr. Scratch Oh, let me tell ya I know that funny money ain't my friend What's the point of green if ya got no Time to spend Only one kind of green's my friend Yeah, it ain't marked with no Washington's or Benjamin's Oh no No siry Can you see the sun as it sets on your horizon? Sinkin' low again So many heads are pinin' for peace But ya know the city never dims

about

So sick and tired of wasting myself to wicked games.

These grooves were recorded on a Tascam 24 Track Digital Portastudio with some cheap mics in two small bedrooms in Tacoma, WA. They were mixed with Cakewalk by Bandlab and "mastered" using various car stereos and headphones.
